The Prophet Hz received the Quran from above. Muhammad (pbuh) transmitted it to Gabriel (Jibril), who then wrote it down and reported it. The Quran serves as a practical and spiritual guide for individuals and communities, all classes of people living in any location or time, and man’s entire existence. The Quran contains information relevant to everyone, from the president to the common man. They acquire the wisdom and lessons necessary for world peace and tranquility as well as eternal happiness. ‘It contains all data about what has befallen those networks before you, insight about disputes and tumults that will occur after you and indications of Armageddon. It makes the difference between what is true and what is false. Allah will lead anyone who seeks guidance elsewhere astray. It is Allah’s sturdy cord. It is the most direct path and the wisest reminder. It shields those whose tongues recite it from ambiguity and saves souls who obey it from ruin and misdirection. Qur’anic scholars always want more from it. It never bores its reader, and the reader never loses their taste by reading it over and over again. “They said We have really heard a wonderful Recital,'” al-Jinn 1 says, referring to the magnificent wonders that continue to astonish humanity. The one who says it is telling the truth. He will be rewarded for acting in accordance with it. He who applies it to his judgment will be fair. He who invites others to it will direct them in the right direction. (Tirmidhi, Thawabu’l-Qur’an, p. 142908) “The Quran is the true path, a clear light, and wise dhikr.” “The Quran is Allah’s rope extended from the sky onto the earth.” “The Quran is superior to other words like ar-Rahman is superior to His creatures.” “On the Day of Judgment, if a person reads a verse from the Book of Allah, it will be a luminous light for him.” “By praying and reading the Quran, make your homes shine brightly.” The Prophet (pbuh) received the Quran in terms of both its meaning and the words it contains. The Quran is referred to as “the recited revelation” because of this. As a result, the Quran is the sum of its words and meaning. Verse by verse and chapter by chapter, the Quran was not delivered to the Prophet (pbuh) as a whole. The Quran was sent down to train people’s spirits, dissuade people from going in the wrong direction, and show them the way to guidance. It was also sent down to make people’s minds and hearts perfect through science and knowledge. Because the verses of the Quran are the words of the Creator who created those beings, true wisdom, or the real information about the purpose of the creation of both humans and other creatures and their responsibilities, can be learned from them.
